1. Open Microsoft Outlook
2. Click on Tools at the top
3. Go down to Rules Wizard |

| 4. Click on the "New" button on the right |
|
| 5. Under “What type of rule do you want to create?” select “ Move messages based on content” |
|
6. Under “Rule description” click on the hyperlink “specific words”
-In the box under “Specify words or phrases to search for in the subject or body” type in *****SPAM***** (Note: 5 * before the word SPAM and after) |
|
-Click the "Add" button on the right
- Click "OK" at the bottom
7. Still in Step 3 click on the hyperlink word “specified”
-Click the “New Folder” button on the right |

-Type the Name “SPAM”
-Click the “OK” button |
 |
| -A screen will pop up asking “Would you like a shortcut of this folder added to your Outlook Bar?” click "Yes" |
 |
8. Click “OK” on that screen
9. Make sure the new message rule has a check mark next to it and then click “Finish”
10. Make sure the box next to your message rule is checked and click OK at the bottom |

| 11. Now when any message comes in that the Spam filter notes as Spam it will be moved to the Spam folder so you can go through it when you wish in case any mail was accidentally tagged as Spam that you wish to keep. |
