The satellite Internet access features download speeds of 400-800 KB per second or more than eight to 16 times faster than traditional 56K modems.

The satellite service, offered as a high-speed solution for homes and business, starts at $29.95 per month. OWC offers the high-speed Internet access in three service plans: Silver, gold and platinum. Each plan comes with an OWC.NET satellite dish, PCI satellite receiver card, professional installation, local dial-up access, five e-mail accounts and ongoing technical support.

Service plan offerings:

Silver: Up to 100MB of downloads per month at up to 400Kbps. Price is $29.95 per month.

Gold: Unlimited downloads per month at up to 400Kbps. Price is $49.95 per month.

Platinum: 1000MB of downloads per month at up to 800Kbps. Price is $149.95 per month.
