1. Open Opera.

2. Click on "Tools" in the menu bar.
3. Click on "Mail and chat accounts..."

4. On the popup window click "Yes" to have it open the mail account setup wizard.

5. Select "Regular e-mail (POP)" and then click "Next >"

6. On the next screen input the following
    a. Real Name: Your name as you wants it to appear on your email.
    b. E-mail address: Enter your email address (e.g. email@owc.net)
    c. Organization: Optional. You can input your organization's name if you wish.
    d. Click the "Next >" button to continue

7. On this screen input the following:
    a. Login name: Enter your email address (e.g. email@owc.net)
    b. Password: The password setup for your account
    c. Click on the "Next >" button to continue

8. On this screen do the following:
    a. Incoming server: put in "mail.owc.net"
    b. Leave messages on server: Defaults to checked. Recommend you uncheck this unless
        you plan on logging in to your web mail from time to time to clear out the old messages or
        use another account to bring in the mail as well. If you do leave them on server they count
        against the total space allowed and may eventually cause the box to become full.
    c. Outgoing server: put in "mail.owc.net"
    d. Click on the "Finish" button

9. Back in the main Opera window go back to the menu bar and again click on "Tools"
10. Click on "Mail and chat accounts"

11. Under "Manage Accounts" you should see your newly created mail account. Click on it to highlight the account then click the "Edit" button to the right.

12. Click on the "Servers" tab

13. On there look to the bottom half under "Outgoing SMTP server" and set the following:
    a. Authentication: Click on the drop down box and select "Plaintext"
    b. Username: Put in your email address. (e.g. email@owc.net)
    c. Password: Input the password setup for your email account
    d. Click the "OK" button

14. Click the "Close" button on the next window and your mail account is all set to start being used.
