Go to "Compose" on the Toolbar. Select "New Message."

Fill out the information needed to send the message.

To: [ Who the message is going to ]
CC: [ The email address where a carbon copy is sent to ]
Subject: [ The subject of your message ]
Body: [ The message ]

Click on this icon (located in the upper lefthand corner of the toolbar) to send the message.

Click on "Tools" on the Toolbar. Select "Deliver Now" (choose "Internet Mail" if you have a choice for "using")

If you continue to have problems sending mail, and you've verified that you are connected to the Internet, check your settings.
