Note: Netscape users do not need to configure your mail client for secure authentication settings.
Netscape currently uses auto detect technology to detect the current settings.

Please also note that what you see below might not look exactly like what you see on your computer. For any further technical questions or problems, please call 815-338-8685.

1. After installing Netscape Communicator, double click on the application. A profile setup window will appear. Click Next.

2. To begin creating the new profile, enter your information where the letters A, B, and C are located.

Field A: Your name (first, last).
Field B: Your email address (emailaccount@owc.net).

Field C: Your profile name can be any name. We recommend a first name.
Field D: Do not change unless you know what you are doing.

Field E: Your name (first, last).
Field F: Your email address (emailaccount@owc.net).
Field G: "mail.owc.net"

Field H: Put your email account name here.
Field I: "mail.owc.net"
Mail Server Type: Do not change. Keep it "POP3"

Field J: "news.owc.net"

4. Select "Finish" Netscape will finish loading and will automatically configure your email.

Setup is complete
