1.Double Click on My Computer.

2. On the left hand side click on Network and Dial-up Connections.

3. Double Click on Make New Connection.

4. Select "Dial-up to the Internet" and click next.
Connect using your phone line, for modem users
5. Select "Connect using my phone line".

6. Type in the phone number provided to you on the account sheet in the "Suggested Dial-in number" box and click next.
7. Click on the Advanced button.

8. Under "Connection Type" you should have a dot in front of PPP (Point to Point Protocol) and a check in Disable LCP extensions.
9. Under Logon procedure the dot should be in None.
10. Click OK. This will bring you back to the previous screen where you will click Next.

11. Fill in your username and password you provided when you signed up. Make sure the Caps lock key is not on and that you put them in lower case.
12. Click Next.
Complete Configuration
13. Click Finish on the next screen.
Create Shortcut
14. Using your right mouse button click on the OWC icon.
15. Click on Create Shortcut. When it asks if you would like to place the shortcut on the desktop click on yes.

16. To sign on double click the OWC icon on your desktop.

17.Click on Dial to Connect.

18.To tell if you're connected, look at the lower right hand corner near your clock and you will see the two computer monitor symbol.
Internet Explorer Netscape Communicator
19. Now open up your Internet Explorer or Netscape by double clicking on the icon on the desktop.

20. From there you can surf the web at your leisure.

21. When you are ready to get off the internet double click the two computer icon by your clock.

22. When the Connected to OWC box appears click on Disconnect.
